Jordan Krulicki made it two wins in two events in the past week  in the Central Alberta area by capturing the Innisfail Jr. Open today with an even-par 72, one shot clear of Consort's Jason McKinlay. Krulicki, who plays out of the Red Deer GCC, followed up his on his win last week at River Bend in Red Deer, where he flirted with the Tour's alltime scoring record there before "settling" for a 5-under par 67.  The Innisfail course is one of the more difficult on the Tour, and without doubt one of the most beautiful layouts in the province.  The course's horticulturist has outdone herself this year, as the golf course was not only in immaculate condition, but a feast for the eyes with the myriad of gorgeous flowers and stunning landscaping.  If you haven't played Innisfail in a while, MAKE THE TRIP!!!

Zach Belitsky of Parksville, BC and Spencer Pal of Turner Valley tied for third today with matching 75s.  A late-round lightning and rain storm came thru JUST after the kids were coming off the golf course, and everyone made it to cover safely. Qualifiers for the Tour Championship today on the boys' side included McKinlay and Pal, along with Brendan Davidson of Wolf Creek (76), Nathan Liewicki of Pioneer Meadows (76),  and the host club's Colby Massignan, whose 80 was tops in the flight for players born in 1993 and later who had not previously qualified.

Six junior girls were on hand today, and full marks to the young ladies who led the pace today!  They finished right on four hours, which is excellent pace for this very challenging course!  Chelcia Petersen of the Glencoe was best today with an 82, but maybe the happiest young lady was Allison Seto of the Public Player Club, whose 98 got her into the Tour Championship as the 3 girls ahead of her today had all previously qualified.

Next up tomorrow is the always-popular Kevin Hipple Memorial Jr Open at Calgary's Pinebrook GCC. Entries there are closed, but spots remain open for Thursday's event at Black Bull Golf Resort at Ma-Me-O Beach.

Q= Qualified for Tour Championship at Wolf Creek on August 27.

WC = Wild Card Qualifier for Tour Championship.

PQ = Player had Previously Qualified for Tour Championship.

Code of Conduct

The McLennan Ross Sun Junior Golf Tour takes great pride in the quality of its competitors, its host facilities, and the support provided by our Corporate Partners. The efforts of the administrative staff and the volunteers that go into making the Tour so successful demand a very high standard of behavior and decorum from the competitors. We have therefore developed a formal Code of Coduct modeled on that of Alberta Golf that provides a set of guidelines for the young men and women that wish to compete in McLennan Ross Sun Junior Golf Tour events.
