Second leg of a nice Central Alberta swing, following on the heels of the Innisfail Jr. Open the day before.

Olds has been a terrific addition to the Tour and Head Pro Wade Bearchell and his staff do a fantastic job of tournament organizing.  Last year, the TOTAL time from tee off to scoring to prizes to heading home was UNDER five hours!  The golf course is about 2 km. east of town, just north of the highway leading into town from Highway 2.

The 2008 tournament featured a very rare 'albatross' 2 on the 537-yard par-5 18th hole by Wallace O'Neil of Cochrane, who ended up winning the event by one stroke!

Tournament for 2010 will be a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start.

Code of Conduct

The McLennan Ross Sun Junior Golf Tour takes great pride in the quality of its competitors, its host facilities, and the support provided by our Corporate Partners. The efforts of the administrative staff and the volunteers that go into making the Tour so successful demand a very high standard of behavior and decorum from the competitors. We have therefore developed a formal Code of Coduct modeled on that of Alberta Golf that provides a set of guidelines for the young men and women that wish to compete in McLennan Ross Sun Junior Golf Tour events.
