The newly-renamed Montgomery Glen GC in Wetaskiwin is one of four courses owned and operated under the Country Club Tour banner. The new ownership group has really transformed the facility, both on and off the golf course.  I hardly recognized the inside of the clubhouse last year! Fantastic changes!

But the on-course changes were even better.  They are really putting investment into the on-course product too.  Much improved course conditioning the last couple of years in Wetaskiwin!

You can go low here, as evidenced by Fort Saskatchewan's Joel Shackleton's Tour record 9-under 63 last year!  But he DID win by 9 shots, so it's not like everyone shot the lights out. Their signature hole is the 405-yard, par-4 12th, an excellent test with water and trees lurking everywhere.

The course is located at the junction of Hiway 2A and Hiway 13 on the north edge of the town.  Map on the website.  9:00 a.m.shotgun start.

Code of Conduct

The McLennan Ross Sun Junior Golf Tour takes great pride in the quality of its competitors, its host facilities, and the support provided by our Corporate Partners. The efforts of the administrative staff and the volunteers that go into making the Tour so successful demand a very high standard of behavior and decorum from the competitors. We have therefore developed a formal Code of Coduct modeled on that of Alberta Golf that provides a set of guidelines for the young men and women that wish to compete in McLennan Ross Sun Junior Golf Tour events.
