Cody Roberts of Sturgeon Valley and Melissa Saken of Edson came out on top today in their respective categories as 77 junior golfers were on hand at the immaculately groomed Barrhead GCC. Full results will be on the website by 7 p.m. tonight

30-Jun-09 - THIRTEEN FORMER TOUR PLAYERS IN FIELD FOR TELUS EDMONTON OPEN

The Telus Edmonton Open is this week's stop on the Canadian Tour at Edmonton's Glendale GCC. A total of thirteen players in the field are former participants in McLennan Ross Sun Junior Tour events, including players such as Canadian Tour winner Mike Mezei, rising stars Barrett Jarosch and Dale Vallely and current Alberta amateur stars Scott Stiles and Mitch Evanecz. The $150,000 purse event runs from Thursday, July 2 through to Sunday, July 5. Drop out to the Glendale to cheer on these players and many of the top young touring professionals in the world.
